VowPing Terms of Service (Draft v1)

1. The service

VowPing sends you a daily nudge and writes personalized message drafts for your spouse, based on the profile you create. With a Pro subscription, it also suggests flowers, restaurants, and gifts. You review and approve every draft — nothing is ever sent without you.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in email secure.
  • One account per person. Do not share your account.

3. Acceptable use

Use VowPing for its intended purpose: staying thoughtful toward your spouse. You agree not to use the service to harass, threaten, or deceive anyone; attempt to access other users' data or disrupt the service; or use drafts for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. AI-generated content — read this

  • Drafts are suggestions written by an AI, personalized from the profile you provided. Review every draft before sending. What you send is your responsibility.
  • VowPing is not therapy, counseling, or professional relationship advice.
  • We do not guarantee any outcome in your relationship. We promise a daily nudge and our best effort at a good draft — nothing more.

5. Affiliate disclosure

Some flower, gift, and restaurant recommendations include affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We label affiliate links where they appear.

6. Subscriptions (Pro)

  • Pro pricing to be set before launch. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Cancel anytime in Settings; you keep Pro until the end of the paid period.
  • Free tier remains free. We will give notice before any material change to what's free.

7. Your content and our content

  • What you enter (spouse profile, edits to drafts) stays yours. You grant us the license we need to operate the service: storing it, encrypting it, and sending relevant parts to our AI provider to generate your drafts. We never use your content to train AI models.
  • The VowPing app, brand, and copy are ours. Don't copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the service.

8. Privacy

How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

9. Termination

  • You can delete your account anytime in Settings.
  • We can suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, with notice where practical.

10. Disclaimers and limits

  • The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing).
  • Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

11. Governing law

California law. Disputes handled in California state or federal courts.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes get an in-app notice and an updated effective date.
